Thanks a million Loadus for your model.

You could build up a nice portfolio with the work you

have done with this model. Could help get work in the

3D world if you are not already doing so.

How very kind of you to share your model - whilst I usually avoid using other folks models in my art (I'm like a kid that says "I can do it myself Mum"!) I'm keen to see what I can learn - particularly from your texture techniques.

Fine work Loadus.

You can further streamline your shader by using only 2 layers, moving your bumpmap to the 'top' layer and using Mapped Phong reflectance at the same time you use the aplha mask blending.

You can also give your windows a variety of color and intensity but using additional layers made up of either turbulence/noise or chrome 2D/enviromental/mapped phong.

That is astounding! It really shows off what TS is capable of; have you thought about entering it at CG Talk?

@Mitch:

Yeah, well, 3D is just a hobby - it's those backdrops and image manipulation that brings the bread on the table.

@W!ZARD:

No prob. It's easier to SHOW rather than explain how I do things.

@chrono:

Thanks for the tips! I'm coming on my first full year with trueSpace 6.6, so I'm really a n00b with it still. I'll check those out.

@KeithC:

Thanks. I've posted my earlier ufo there, but not this one probably. The level of quality is too high there. I'll probably post my 2D work there in the future. :)

Hope to see some renders on that motha!

Yeah sure NP. But it is about time the people in the community start using this shader far more often though, because it adds alot of depth to any model.

Also I forgot one thing! You can also use the Luminance channel to control window light intensity. You can also use it to simulate photon bounce, to a degree.
