very nice. maybe the skirting board should be a darker tone than the stone.. or you could go with contrasting colors. :D |

yeah deffinatly. In the picture (the photo i'm working off) it's black, but right now it's just too black. I'll try making it a bit more of a charcoal colour and see if that helps |

added a plant (or the start of one anyway) and a figure in the doorway, hope to have him finished and textured by the weekend

Coming along really nicely! I do like the lighting and architecture here. The plant and figure should add some nice organic "humanity" to it :)

Artwork never finished ;)
The character seems too large . the stairs are difficult to see and understand. Maybe dirty up the texture of one of the cube at the left to increase the realism or water from the plant flowing on the wall.....

the character isn't finished but i know what you mean, add his head and he'd look like a giant :D
I was thinking the same about the stairs, i may add a black lip like the edging on the floor to help pick them out. |

Glad to see this is still coming along. I would have given up long ago. :)
Guess that comes with kids having short attention spans too so I have to keep them busy all the time with something new. It is rubbing off on me. |

believe me, there are loads of projects i've abandoned, try and find my creepy dungeon thread on this forum, take a look at the first date on that....
i still haven't finished it properly. :D |
