Thanks tahnoak and Weevil.
Since you like updates here is a small one I did.
I pinned a tail, added a mane and gave him another shoe. I could have add a fly to the scene but they are for horses...;)
I have a confession to make. To model the tail I HAD to use the Model Side for the "bend" tool...this was ALMOST 100% workSpace,
So here is my "spoiled" workSpace rendering of Jack.:p
I feel ashamed...
p.s. I tried out trueBlues "Mesh Collapse" on the horseshoe and it worked great. Thanks tB!

At the risk of being bombarded with "what are you nuts...." and so forth, I admit that I work ONLY in the model side because I do not have much experience on the Workspace side and I don't have an offline renderer (letting my noobness show through). |

To create the third and final character in the Cartoon I reused parts of the first two models. This saved time and
reinforced the gag line. He needed to resemble both main characters but also look unique. |

Great work Steinie, I just love the different expressions you have crafted onto your characters. Good luck when it comes to the poll. |

I decided to do a VRay version to see what it would look like.
After feedback...
Edit:
This work is Under Destruction:o
Because of Space's keen eye I am currently up to my neck in horsesh**... |

Wait, don't submit it quite yet...I have nits to pick, buster!
His ass isn't touching the ground, and the fence needs a texture. |

@Spacekdet
You want me to do what circus act?... Yep, now that you mention it things need improving.
@Mr.3D
Not touching that one.:D
I'm surprised that no one noticed the new lighting controls I've been using! There is a screen grab of it in one of the renderings in this thread. It is called LightMaster and that is all I'm going to say. The results speak for themselves. |

Brilliant cartoon style work! Especially the expressions, those speak volumes all just from looking at the image, always the key to success (when you don't need to explain it in words). I am amazed at the expressions you've managed to put on those, very funny indeed!
Thanks for sharing the progress on this one as it has gone along, as well as its final incarnation.
Thanks!

I liked the Characters and thought they would make good animated models to study.
This is not my area of expertise yet the curiosity has always been there. Let's see what happens.
I will continue the Animation part of this WIP in this new thread:
