Hey,
I was trying some of the HDRI files which I got it from the Lightworks website stated in the TrueSpace 7 Manual.
It seems to me that most of them are downsampled when rendered.
Is this a bug or was the quality scaled down by the provider websites ?
Here's a screeni:

Have you tried using the HDRI images from the TS Folder. There are 3 of them. If not try them and see if you have the same problem;)
Which image did you download from the lightworks website?:) ;) |

That is quite shocking  actually, it's quite an obvious downsample (or whatever it is), maybe you should email lightworks. |

Thanks for the reply,
The one in the folder works fine.
And it is the file paris3.hdr , You can find the link in the manual to the lightworks website.
It also appears when I open them in photoshop, the photo shop says:
"The file format allows for values higher than photoshop's internal's maximum values. Would you like to scale the image data accordingly ?"
So I think the lightworks renderer has the same problem and it is scaled down to be shown.
Any ideas ?

The HDRI Vertical Cross format works best if you want to render the background. Not sure if this is a Lightworks bug, limitation of enviroment mapping to sphere to render the background or a TS7 limitation. |

Thank you very much for your information.
Since you're a beta tester, Could you pass this over to the developer's team?
