So how much time is left? I'm in a different time zone and always seem to get it wrong. |

Could set the deadline by the Caligari Clock to avoid time zone confusions :) Then everyone can access the one web page to know how long is left (http://www.caligari.com/birdsofafeather.asp). It's there for such international, timezone crossing community events, so feel free to use that as a point of reference!

Some Very nice work!
Ok, I suggest a new rule - if there is more than X amount of entries, there should be allowed two votes per person. It's a shame I can only cast one when there's so many good interpretations of theme, good models, etc.
jamesmc - Yea, I'm with you! One day... one day, I'll be able to say me too.
For the SMC, I tend to avoid the final render and judge first how much work was accomplished in the two hour time limit, and originality of concept. I use the MMC to judge for 'beauty render'. It's only fair; I feel the SMC is about "what can you do in two hours?". |

Sorry Vizu, I spent too much time gathering research images and had something some up. Seems to be the usual way of it for me... :o
This is a great topic for practice though so I'll do one in a WIP thread later.
Awesome entries everyone! Loved Frank's creative character and beautiful cinematic render, C0R4X - very clean SDS, creative idea, and a nice render. Nez was awesome on detail and render (as usual!) :D
@ Dragneye, Yeah it's be nice to be able to vote a weighted top 3. Because I think there are a lot of entries that would end up being someone's close second choice but end up with no votes at the end. |
