Superb job with the materials - shame you can see the faceting to the main sphere on the left hand side.
Thanks, Nez, the faceting bothered me too but I ran out of time. I am using it now as avatar and the problem has solved itself :D
I am a Star Trek fan and in the series "Voyager", the Chief Medical Officer is a camera buff.
Ah, that shows my ignorance! I have never been a great fan of Star Trek, but this is a cool camera and you did a great job modeling it.

Sorry I didn't really get a chance to enter this time round - I was going to do an old Super 8 Canon home movie camera (http://www.canon.com/camera-museum/camera/cine/data/1956-1970/1967_auto518_sp8.html?lang=us&categ=crn&page=1956-1970) from the 60s. Never mind - bring on the next SMC! :) :)
