Yes, very nice Vizu! I was trying to come up with a unique grill design to go with my "Grilling for Dummies", but I couldn't think of one, so I just used a very generic one....

trueSpaced, your setting sure blows mine away, and Vizu's is something I've never seen before. Most creative!!!

OOOO!! COMPETITION!!! I GRILL THAT FOR BREAKFAST!! :p
FRRRRROOOOOTTTTEEEE!!!: Looks great! I was going to try something like that and have the "Grilling for Dummies" book either burning on the grill or in a trashcan next to the grill, but I quickly ran out of time and out of luck.... Looks great; don't see many Workspace screenshots in SMC's!
NEZ: Awesome! I've always wanted to make something in TrueSpace that actually might work in the real world... The only problem I have is there's no plate at the end of the conveyor belt!!! The burgers will go to waste after they've hit the dirty brick pavement! After all of that work you did to grill those burgers right?;) Great design, and I liked your other ideas too!

Woops! You're right, I forgot a plate! It was partly becasue I intended to have an extra section on the end like an escalator to lift the completed burgers up to a table or something, but ran out of time - should have just stuck a plate atthe end though... I'd like to see this animated, but that's beyond me! With a few minor tweaks, it should actually work - I had a fair think about the various mechanisms, although in reality I doubt it would produce enough steam to actually drive everything... |

Won't need a plate Nez! There'll be folks lined up to watch their burgers being made. They can pick up their own burger at the end of the process :) |

Nez's is a very cool grilling machine - and would be great animated.
I really like the others too - always very inventive. Vizu's is a almost a piece of sculpture...
Mine is on the way - the modelling was done days ago but it's getting the damn textures/shaders right that plagues me. :(
And I'll post it anyway even if Prodigy isn't interested in seeing posts from me! ;) :p

Won't be able to submit a 2nd BBQ this time 'round... but oh well... someday I'll be cooking... forgot to make anything to eat on my grill... I'm starving!!!

Haha, nothing bad has happened yet..... If I know myself well enough, though something will....
I've decided to be pure evil and offer help to anyone that wants to do this SMC at the last minute and give a link (http://www.bprogers.com/pictlibrary/f/Fire/?M=A) for some pictures of fire (if it's something people want to use).

trueSpaced, TY. I tried to create a real dimensional piece of furniture. Problem is, the umbrella gets in the way and I have to keep zooming back to get it all in. Yes,,, lol, the 'dark spot' in the middle IS the grill. And... there;s some real looking Hot coals in there also, but alas... live and learn |
