Then TS 7.5 would cost $299 more! Your right Prodigy that plugin is really cool. It will be another great tool in a 3D Artist library.

Opps: I was talking about another pluggin!

I'd completely forgotten about the Photoshop plugin support !

Yeah, that was cool. Sure, for still images, why not do it inside PS, but for animations this was a great feature ! :D

Because up to tS 3.2 Caligari used the R+ render engine. LightWorks was introduced with tS 4.0 and at that point PS plug-in support was no longer available. As also pointed out, most people would post process now anyway rather than do it inside tS.

Surely not for animation though?

Does ts3.2 still come with that little train-engine?
I have it in my to-do list to remake for ts7. It had problems with geometry in ts5 and later I believe. The render engine in ts3.2 is last version using rPlus engine. It handles transparency differently and I rather enjoyed playing with that in particular.

Is still a pretty neat program :jumpy:

Yes, for animation too. It's very rare for me to use an animation directly from tS without it passing through another app. I normally only use animation directly from tS for test or demo purposes.

The good point to use that photoshop post process is: you may dont have money to buy a Photoshop or a After effects to make a good post process..

With that you can access to a large list of Photoshop plugins and add stunning filters on your own renders or animations directly with truespace..

Maybe this can be added on the feature list  or is on "plz support again thread"????

:D

Thanks, I used a plugin I found on moonman's site, it takes loads of polys to make anything that looks like hair, but it's great for grass.
