It appears that we have many talented 3d artists here and that in the field of modeling calculators so much so that through the first poll we can't make up our minds who the winner is, so i'm creating a Tie-Break Poll, please make sure at the end of this there is only 1 winner. :D

Aaargh! I can't believe my silly sliderule scored as many votes as those other calculators - It's basically 4 elongated cubes and a texture!
My vote goes to Daybe - his is a real model! |

I watched a movie last night called Drumline.
They had interesting method to break a tie :)
Like a model-off :) or such or re-render with same object type tie breaker :)
Or we could vote too :) |

I think someone is doing this deliberately . Anyone got any 'sensible' ideas on how to proceed if we have another tie? |

Perhaps we should ask the Caligari crew to organise an egg-hunt in the mushroom village especially for daybe, W!ZARD and blakeo :) We can all be spectators. The winner breaks the tie. (And sends us all a chocolate egg:rolleyes: |

I voted for the slide rule, again, because I thought it was a great render. If modeling was the key here I would have voted for myself :-P. I say we accept that on this challenge, everyone did a great job and lets move on to the next challenge *looking for an excuse to model some more stuff*

Wow it was so close again - the words "gnat's" and "chuff" spring to mind :)
Well done daybe - congratulations on a well fought win! :D The new firearm challenge will need a little thinking time ... hmmm...
I'm amazed I made it to the second poll and got as many votes as I did - my modelling skills are somewhat primitive :p ('scuse the pun!)
Onwards... |
