Maybe I am just rusty or maybe it is the hangover:rolleyes: but I am having trouble with wind.

I inserted a local wind object into a scene (tried with a global too) but how do you actually get the wind to do something when you run the simulation?

Is the fan supposed to turn/animate?

I am sure it is pretty obvious but I seem to be missing it either way.

Hi Splinters. Its a long time since I used the physics engine in trueSpace; plus I only have version 6.6. However, if its the same, the fan should animate in accordance with the direction and speed you have set up. Have you got atmospherics on? Pretty hard to have any wind if you have no air. :D

Splinter check the mass of your objects.. by default the mass seems be too hight to be moved by the wind.. just put mass 1 on your object settings and try it again.. try either setting the wind with a higher value like 100..

Hope that helps.
