Normal mapping is a direct result of intelligent displacement modelling from either the brush type or the procudreal ones. The displacement brush you'll find in the newer TS7 tools & the same goes for the procudreals.


Avoid using Normal mapping in place of simple texturing for stills. Normal mapping was developed for gaming and was only meant to work well with plenty of motion & game level polygon counts. It fails quite easily in still work and some slower animation work.


But you can still get similar effects in 6.6 by using the surface scupt tool, plastiform, and booleans in moderation.

are the textures from real doors and real walls so on?

Hi, sorry for the late response. Have been on a business trip.


Yep, the textures are mostly edited photos from the cathedral in Seville. It helps a lot to have good reference around the corner :D
