Hi all,
I am going to change the links on the website so that the Forum link no longer points to these forums. That way newcomers can find whatever new forum is chosen.
I have a couple of options since there seems to be a few forums out there.
1) A page listing all available alternative forums.
2) A page listing just one forum to keep everyone going to the same place.
If option 2) is preferred, which forum are most people here planning on moving to? That way I can send newcomers along to the one new central forum that will have most of the community on it.
Needless to say, time is short! Do let me know your preferences in this thread as soon as you can, so that I can take that into account in deciding what change to make.
Thanks!
Tom
PS - this still does not mean these forums will be gone tomorrow, or any time soon. The end date for them remains unclear, so it could be tomorrow, or it could be some time off. However, my opportunity to change the website definitely ends tomorrow, so that is why I am making this change now, not because the forums here will be gone by tomorrow. |

Tom I think a page listing available forums makes the most sense. It would be odd for the corporate page to link to a private user forum. |

The page will explain that the links are to external content with no affiliation etc, standard stuff for hopping out of an official site to something unofficial.
For those wishing a complete list of alternative forums, please provide the ones here that you will be using so that I don't miss any. I want the community to define this and control where it goes and how people can find it.
HTH!

yes, a list of available forums.
I think most of active users of the Caligari forum will be on the prodigy forum but it is good to know all the forum. |

German tS forum: http://www.3dspace.de/forum/
The Yafaray4ts page and its forum probably is a shot worth too.
Any others? Prodigy, is your forum up and running? |

Keep the link to these forums up as well..... new users will likely want to download material here while the opportunity exists.... |

Thanks all, keep em coming if there is more! A page listing all forums is the route we will go, and we'll include these ones here of course since we don't know how long they will be around (could be quite a while).
HTH!
