"Sticky" means, the thread is placed at the top of the thread list, and does not get pushed down the list as new threads are created tamtam. It stays at the top of the thread list.

So if you come to the forums, and select the Roundtable forum, you will always see this sticky at the top of the thread list. But other general discussion threads which are created, will start out on the first page, then as time goes on, it shows up on the 2nd page in the forum, then the 3rd, etc.

Steinie's thread was made a sticky because it contains a plethora of useful truespace links which can help new and seasoned truespace users alike. By making it a 'sticky' thread, it is a lot easier for users to find, since it's always at the top of the thread list.

Sticks to the top of the list. So, no matter how many other new threads are created, a 'sticky' will always be at the top so that it's easily accessible and you haven't got to hunt for it.

Hope that makes sense.

Sorry for duplication, posted at the same time as Steinie.

Excellent list.

I just updated the Moonman resource list. Dang, the materials are dwindling on the web. Good to see this thread is live and filling up. I'm going to add a link pointing back here.

Thanks to all.

Glad to see you're still around Moonman! A lot of the old-timers have long since moved on to other software or other interests. :D

I read the news today. I'm still kinda shocked.

I am harvesting this thread, and trust nobody will mind if I post a mirror of "Steinie's Helpful Links for trueSpace", out on Moonman's trueSpace Resources. This list was hard gathered, and should not be lost.

Hang in there, and keep dancing like a banana.

No problem Moonman.

BTW

I have removed all the dead links and posted an update at Prodigy's site recently. The links here have some dead wood. I'm glad your keeping this stuff alive.

I've used your site for years. I always considered you a Fred Fish of the PC world.:)
