dose anyone know why my contacts says someone is offline when they are
online?? you know the tick isnt there but they are online......

What do you mean the "tick" isn't there? Do you mean check?

if you (or they) are on a bad connection AW can have trouble updating the list.. could be their end.. and the user's connection is
so low the DB isn't noticing that person during heartbeat's.. could be timed out or something..
