Ok. I will make the one and only statement I am going to make about
Eep. I have been attacked by him quite a bit, and maybe it's time to
answer up ))...

Eep has been in a protest about AW for whatever reason for quite some
time before I came along. and I was not aware of it, why, or any of
it...... who new to AW WOULD know?..ok?

I made a site (intended to be really small) and just give away a few
objects... because all there seemed to be was Eep's old links page that
Casay now handles, and man..as you guys know...... very very little was
there.

So what's one more little guy gonna do..make waves? Not really.... not
enough to cause any attention. Even though a LOT of the items were too
big for AW, it was a start, and several people took notice and started
to teach me.. and I am grateful..they know who they are ))..

then came a BIG nasty almost fatal bout with the flu.... I came home
from the hospital and have lain here in bed every since...... and
nothing to do but AW..

And all objects I have converted or made I upload and test... so, myself
for one, I knew some were too big, but everyone has the option NOT to
use them, so what;s the kick about.... take it or leave it..it is a
learning curve...

Then as I dug deeper, I found and read a lot about Eep's
protest....etc..... which is some kind of love/hate thing with AW that I
don't care to get into. That's HIS business, and I stay out of
it..period.

But I noticed my hits were really down on my page, and people in the
newsgroups were really becoming bitter about AW... and it all didn't
make a lot of sense... but I don't care to take issue with that right
now either.....

So: what I found was this:

Post and Ad... Eep would comment....

I stay quiet.

Post another Ad..Eep would challenge.....

I stay quiet.

Post another Ad:....Eep attacks........

I stay quiet.

Everyone else starts to raise holy hell with Eep... (thanx to you all
for that BTW)..))

BOOM.....my hits go up....

People looking just to see what is going on..
..
I get tons of email and tele's...encouragement... from people like Mauz,
Imagine...etc....telling me how they downloaded the objects, and made
them better..

And now Casay's links paage hs almost DOUBLED in the number of sites
flowering out AW objects of good quality....

It seems to me just the opposite of what Eep was trying to accomplish...

I made contact with many of those people, we exchanged links..etc....and
things are growing no matter what anyone says or does....... the number
of sites today PROVES it.

So....yes......my ratty assed site needed work, and is on Xoom which is
slow as hell to begin with, but was never intended to be a push point
to jump start objects for AW again....

So Eep, if you read this.I AM cleaning it up now that I feel physically
better...and I hold no grudge against you for PERSONAL attacks that
really weren't warrantied... you DO need a bit of polish on your bedside
manner.... but you are a smart guy.....I give you that having read all
of your work.

But I am no dummie either... don't even thiink that. The publicity you
have given out has been worth more money that AW could ever spend to get
support and interest in object building up.....

And that's all I have to and will say on this matter......

Thing is, I never told/asked you to take down your site--just make it navigate more easily and to clean your converted objects up for AW. 2 simple requests. The side
effect of other people's encouragement to you and more object sites opening up, etc, is hardly the exact opposite of what I wanted.

However, by taking down my RW site when I did (if that's what you're at all referring to), I won't let people forget how crappy AWCI has managed AW in the past and
what they still continue to do to oppress people when it suits them. They do not ask before doing things that will affect other people's creations, as is evidence by JP
and/or someone else at AWCI increasing the AlphaWorld building limit radius during the so-called AWHS GZ reconstruction, then thinking my stuff at AlphaWorld 2n 8s
was/is en eyesore simply because my objects are no longer solid-colored due to AW3's lack of backwards compatibility (plus a long-standing dislike of my
"walls"--considered vandalism by some--near Gordon's Cottages which were only put up because of Queen Bee's signs which have long since been deleted; I would have
taken my walls down earlier but I didn't even know I could delete my stuff within the building limit radius until I tried yesterday! Oddly enough I can't change/add
objects.). JP also recently changed a few AlphaWorld textures which don't all look the same as the old ones. http://tnlc.com/eep/aw/history.html for more crap AWCI's
pulled that I don't agree with.
