hey yall, im havving this prob with aw, where when i open it, nothing
appears, other then the aw thingy, on the task bar. but the main aw window,
and the tabs, and website, and all other things don't show... so anyone know
whats up?

i have WIN XP home, 1ghz intel p3 processor, 512mb ram, and a ATI RAGE 128
video card (almost 2 years old). I tried using Team Fortress, and that
worked fine, without any problems...

SWE,

Something similar happened to me dunno if it's the same thing, but...I
will try just for you.. Try to right click on AW in the taskbar and select
"Maximize". This was a temporary solution for about...oh 20 seconds. It
seemed the window, for some reason, decided to relocate itself to an
outrageous land far beyond that of a mouse pointer. Maximizing is a pian,
though. Maybe there is a secret magical way to send windows traveling across
your screen I don't know of. Have you tried a fresh install? Dunno if this
is even close..but

Hope this helps....
(it seems so silly)

close AW then edit the aworld.ini file found in the aworld folder. look for the section:
[layout]
............
main_x=62
main_y=3
..........

There are a lot of sub variables but the ones you need are these two main_x and main_y......make these both equal to "1" and this
should get your window back on the screen hehehehe

[layout]
............
main_x=1
main_y=1
..........

save the file and restart AW...:)

Leo :)
