I love it when occasionally the weather or backdrop in Alfa changes. Now I
don't want them doing this all the time as I think the origianl backdrop is
ok and basic. Like last winter they left the snow on the ground way way way
to long and I got tired of looking at it and went off to another world to
build. It would be nice though to be able to instantly change from day to
night. The other night I changed the fall_day1 BMP file in the cache for the
hec of it and I was very pleasently surprised how beautiful many of my
builds looked at night. Especially the ones with coronas. I don't dare
explain to friends anymore how to do this though because of a few reasons.
First of all it's very hard to get the basic pc user to find the cache file
and impliment a backdrop into the cache as the BMP file is so misunderstood
by the average pc user including myself. Don't you all think it would be
nice to at least have fast access to a day or night version of Alfa World at
the click of a button or even a change made to your weather by inserting
text into the browser? The problem is that you want your friends to see what
your seeing and right now you might see a night backdrop but they still see
the fall_day1 backdrop.

OH and also you have to constantly refresh the cache with your special
backdrop as the browser restocks the old one occasionally.

don't know if you know this or not its PH, Alpha World. :) yes it does look
better but why would they put a button for one world? you could currently do
this with the custom toolbar yourself :)

however that may change the background it doesnt touch the world lights...

Not sure what you mean by PH? cp and could you please explain as to how I do
this this custom toolbar myself on alfa world or leave link where it
explains this in help files. I know it does not change world lights but the
coronas do stand out nice against the darker backdrop and certain things
take on a more noticable appearance.

World lighting should not be changed as it messes up colour matching.
