An advertising group would make it possible for people to post their

emm naa, cuz no would would read the advertising ng, and so the people

I disagree.
People who were looking for specific products and services would actually know that that is the place to look. There might be far fewer people reading it, but those who did read it would be 'qualified leads' . Posting in such a group would probably have a better yield per reader than any other NG. Yeah, same here. I'd definately read that newsgroup if I was looking for
