With the addition of new features and the fact that not everyone may be
using the same browser, could some sort of browser version checking be done?
Lets say someone is somehow still using v3.2 of the browser, they decide to
go into a world with Terrain turned on... what are they going to see? A
bunch of objects floating in the air? Or, lets say someone using the 3.3
browser goes into a world with 3.4 features like water and clouds, they
won't miss the clouds much, but they sure will wonder why that boat is
floating in the middle of the air without the water showing up.
Possible solutions might be an informational message being broadcast by the
world server informing the citizen that certain features used in said world
will not be displayed because of the browser they are using. Or perhaps if
someone is using an old browser the citizen could get a broadcast message
stating they can't enter the world without upgrading to vX.X Or, perhaps a
water and ground alternate method could be added to the server... say you
use 3.2 of the browser and you come into a world with Terrain, they might
see an alternate ground object instead of the terrain, and all 3.3+ users
would only see the terrain. Same for water, if water were turned on in a 3.4
world and the user is using 3.3 or less, an alternate water(flat rwx or some
such) could be shown to 3.3 or less browsers.
Just pondering. Any thoughts?

use a bot-you can see its version
also its wise to ahve a ground object AND a terrain object (make sure ground
is lower than terrain)
