Hiya,

Anyone know any bots which will run under linux / unix?

Something without a GUI , something simple which will run in console.

Many thanks

The new ChatRelayBot version supports *nix, and is going great. It will
be released soon, and probally Tony M will be replying to this thread
with more info ;)

[View Quote] "gcc file.c" will give you the default a.out file.

I think gcc -o client file.c is how you change it, you then, of course,
would ./client to run the bot.

I think i need to install the SDK first......

-rw-r--r-- 1 simba wheel 130422 Jul 17 22:12 libaw_sdk.BSD.a
-rwxr-xr-x 1 simba wheel 105193 Jul 17 22:12 libaw_sdk.BSD.so
-rw-r--r-- 1 simba wheel 19142 Jul 17 20:54 aw.h

How would i install this from these files?

[View Quote] I think they need to be in /usr/lib then all you'd need to do is go gcc
-o client -law_sdk source.c

I'm not sure if it works the same on BSD, which seems to be what you're
using.

You did not even open the file in an editor, did you??
The third comment line have the exact gcc invokation for the compiling :(
Just have the libaw_sdk.a in the source directory.
