Well, It's Sunday morning and where are you AW? Geeesh! Knock Knock on
support at activeworlds.com's door. Anyone working?.....awww guess not. Why even have a network status page if it's never updated in real time or watched by humans? We need aliens to run things there. Maybe they are busy looking for Mars to crash into the Earth. Who knows? I can just imagine how many people must have reinstalled their copies of the application thinking it's their PC that is having the problem. Two buddies have emailed me saying they did this and still can't logon. So I had to break them the news they wasted their time and probably lost all their teleports. There may be a lot of peeps who have lost their teleports come Monday mornin. LOLZ and the poor bots O. A new friend from Colombia just got his citizenship friday night and was sooo looking forward to enjoying his new found freedom only to find he could NOT login. The network status page wa updated...
it had a ncie message, that said they where dilligently working...then that they had restored access...but if you wherer unabel to conenct cotnact support at aw... and they got a response and fixed it tony mAug 7, 2005, 11:45pm
The current problem with the status page is that the "date" is always going to be the current date, and not the date when the page was last updated, which is misleading.

Javascript get date function
is much easier and much easier to remember to do than going there every day/hour/minute and updating... when it goes down they update it... now if they where to add am essage i think they should timestamp it but :-\ |
