I was recently looking through some pics from the 2001 reunion and I was
wondering how often AW does reunions, I've never been around for any so I
dont know how frequently they are..
I also found a pretty picture of ENZO
http://www.awcommunity.org/reunion/pics/weebo/Weebogroup4.jpg
ENZO really has a bright smile!

Reunions are held every year. Usually in August. The city is always
different.
This year will be AW's 10th anniversary and will be held in Boston.
The UK also has reunions, but I don't have any info on those.

I believe the Cits living in the UK schedule their own reunions.
Maybe you could organize one in Austrailia, Ry. : )

I live in Australia, Sydney.
I was going to post the exact same thing, about having one in Australia.
I always wanted to goto an AW Reunion, as it deals with not only the
celebration and party, but also includes a techtalk.
Unfortuantly, AWI are the only ones who do the techtalk (Well, possibly the
UK has some sort of techtalk), but the Australia/New Zealand counterparts
have nothing, not even their own registered uni.. And the old "Awaba" (god
knows where it went), didn't count either.
But hell, if you ever organize anything, if its within my boundries I will
be there. Perth, I'd no doubt be able to get to either.

Well, I have relations in Perth, and I my dad actually wants to go to perth
one time, so if there was one in Perth, providing there is enough notice,
I'd likely be able to get there. So yes, I could get to Perth, in most
cases.
Sometimes I try to word things too greatly, and everything gets
complicated..

That would be so great Ry! I know of a few people at the Gate area who live
in either NZ or Australia and some of them don't read the ngs. Perhaps if
you spread the word at the gate often enough (like at different times of the
day so you can catch them all), you'll get a decent response or even someone
would be willing to put it together for you or work with you on it. I'm sure
there are some folks in AWTeen and Junodome who would also be interested.
Best of luck to you. I'd like to see you all get together sometime. ;-")

Hiya,
If you see anyone at the gate, tell them to telegram Ry if they're
interested in an Aussie Reunion ^_^

Provided with the webspace, I could put together a simple page or two on
this.. You might be able to find free .info giveaways on google.com even..
I'm not sure if any sites still offer it.. But its an easy domain, and very
inexpensive, obviously.
If you got a .info or anything such, I would be able to use some of my ISP
space to host a website.

To be honest, SW City is having their reunion in Newport, Rhode Island,
August 11 through 16. We didn't know about this reunion when we started
planning. So maybe you could have the AW reunion then and we can drive up
to meet you guys! :)
