What's that program that takes all things inside a folder and outputs a list
of their filenames to a text file?

While there isn't a specific program that I know of, the DOS command "DIR" can be used:

dir /b >list.txt

The "/b" switch will simply list each file, and all of this will go into a file called "list.txt".

Listmaker will make a list of all jpgs etc.
There are also some free proggys out there that will make instant thumbnails
webpages for you.
As soon as I figure out what I did to the server again, I'll try and find
them...lol

Please make a backup elsewhere of your textures or photos.
I have already accidently deleted some stuff...lol

Perl installed on your webhost?

I think (if my understanding is correct), if they support .cgi then they
support perl - might be wrong though.
