World descriptions? (Community)
World descriptions? // CommunityavanoirJul 29, 2004, 2:56pm
I'm wondering where I find a list of the worlds along with a description.
There are many times I go to visit a world only to find out it's in a completely different language or it's some sort of role playing game. Can I make a list of my 'favorite' worlds? Also, I find that sometimes when I click on a door or something, my computer hangs completely and I have to reboot. I've cleaned out the cache and everything, yet it still happens. Is there something else I need to do to stop this? Thanks! builderzJul 29, 2004, 3:16pm
If you already cleared your cache, try these suggestions:
1) Run scandisk/chkdsk 2) Go to Windows Update and download the latest updates 3) Update your video card drivers 4) Defrag your hard drive 5) Re-install AW if all else fails Builderz http://www.3DHost.net [View Quote] > Also, I find that sometimes when I click on a door or something, my computer > hangs completely and I have to reboot. Thanks :)
I've tried all but the re-install, which I will attempt. c pJul 29, 2004, 4:00pm
hurmmmmm well many worlds don't have descriptions you just have to visit
them and find out via trial and error. Are you sure the doors are activate rotate??? they could be solid no, or other such things :) not al doors are rotated, many doors simply are non solid. :) [View Quote] carolannJul 29, 2004, 4:07pm
Under "Search" in tab controls of your browser, you can look for a
particular kind of world. And you can save your favorites by saving it in "Teleports" when you visit, and when you chose "remember" you can give it the description that would help you remember its features. [View Quote] avanoirJul 29, 2004, 4:08pm

The doors were always doors that were meant to be clicked on and opened. I
went back after and tried again, but they didn't always cause crashes later on. I'm not sure why its doing it! As for the worlds, thanks for letting me know. I stumbled across some Gor worlds etc and was afraid I'd eventually enter a world where I shouldn't be and get kicked out of AW or something. ! c pJul 29, 2004, 4:13pm
Trust me there is no way to get kicked offaw for visiting worlds :) well
that is to say unless you hacked your way into them, but still worlds are free to visit, you can get ejected from them for not following owners rules, but other than said actions, you cant get kicked off aw. :) [View Quote] avanoirJul 29, 2004, 4:22pm
