Hi everyone..

Im gonna be absent from AW for a while as my new ADSL line is gonna take
about 1-2 weeks to be activated by Telstra!!!

Also I have a new Email Address which is:
rbirkinNOSPAM at iinet.net.au (remove NoSpam...) It can also be added to MSN
Messenger, please do.

I've heard of others wait at least a month for a new DSL line to be
provisioned... There are tons of broadband horror stories on the
BroadbandReports.com forums. For example, this one guy was getting a
high-speed cable connection installed and the cable company just hired
contractors to do the install (they were not employees or regular techs
so they had no idea what they were doing). The guy ended up with like
three huge drill holes in totally different sections of his house, all
exposed to the elements (that is, the weather). Believe me, one to two
weeks is nothing.

Yeah well welcome to Australia... Where the cheapest ADSL is $49.95 for
256/64 6GB Downloads & Shaped.

Still waiting on the activation by Telecom.
