PROXIMA Teaser Video (Community)
PROXIMA Teaser Video // CommunitybuilderzNov 4, 2003, 3:16am
I made a four-minute "teaser video" (actually, it's more like a slide
show of various screen shots) about the gaming world Proxima by UberMonkey and TonyM. Uber has been working on both the bot that runs Proxima and most of its buildings for ages, and I wanted to show off some of the sections of the world. The video is available in QuickTime and Windows Media Video formats. You can download it from here: http://www.proximarpg.com/video.html More information about Proxima can be found at http://www.proximarpg.com Builderz http://www.3dhost.net bowen ten.sardna@newobNov 4, 2003, 3:36am
Very cool, nice music. You should add some movement to make it seem
more alive. Other than that, it's pretty good. -- --Bowen-- http://bowen.homelinux.com Give me ideas. builderzNov 4, 2003, 1:59pm
Glad you liked it, Bowen. I know I should have put more "fades" or
transitions between the screen shots to spice things up, but with the software I use, it would have taken a fairly long time to do. Plus, without them, it cuts down on the file size and allowed me to lower the frames per second of the video (again, less bloat). I was originally thinking of capturing video direct from AW and making some movie clips instead of just the still shots, but I was pressed for time. I might do that in the future. Remember, its a teaser and not a trailer. ;) Builderz http://www.3dhost.net [View Quote] > Very cool, nice music. You should add some movement to make it seem > more alive. Sorry, no DivX version as of yet. Actually, I wanted to make it into a
Flash slide show type of thing, but the file size ended up being smaller in QT and WMV formats instead. I'll keep DivX in mind if I make another movie. Builderz http://www.3dhost.net [View Quote] > What? No DiVX? > > -Joe r i c h a r dNov 4, 2003, 3:51pm
