What about other universes like Outerworlds? If the prices over there are
still the same, I wonder how many people will migrate over. Right now I'm pondering over the thought of propdumping my stuff over to another universe (yes I know how much work that would take). lilalpha phalphaJan 3, 2002, 2:46am
For all of us who are renewing, we dont know it will be 9.50 a month. The
prices for us could and possibly will be cheaper. However if worse comes to worse I plan to emmigrate to Outerworlds and start over there. I feel sory for people like Comit, who have put so much work into AW and now has to leave. All the rest of us can hope for is that our renewal prices will be cheaper. If not i want all of you who can afford to stay to keep the community together untill i get a job... LilAlpha Phalpha [View Quote] dotar sojatJan 3, 2002, 3:59am

<html> We alrwady have the world from AW on the price for existing citizens. Check their FAQ at hppt://www.activeworlds.com/tech/faq.asp Read it carefully. <p>Question asked on the FAQ <br>"I have just renewed at $19.95 per year and my registration will not expire until January of next year. Will I still have to pay the $9.50 per month?" <br>Answer to it, pay attention now <br>"No. Your registration is valid until January of next year. <font color="#FF0000">At that point when it comes time to renew, you will need to pay the new rate of $9.50 per month.</font>" <p>Sounds to me like AW already has the screws ready to turn on our thumbs. yes, sounds to me like they're gonna try the same trick on us again and
announce the new cit pricing on Jan 31st lol, but looks like someone didn't watch what he/she was writing in the FAQ... KAH [View Quote] |
