I just took the 3d homepage for a spin. Got myself a free one month cit and
a free one month world.

AW and AWCOM have been very good to me, I met the love of my life through
AW. I developed my passion for computers and in particular hardware. I've
made dozens of friends. Had hours upon hours of fun. Had a place to go when
shit went to hell. There was always someone to lean on, to talk to. A place
to be creative in ways the real world would never even begin to comprehend.

For the first time in my life, I felt like I belonged. That I wasn't too
smart or dressed the wrong way or listened to the wrong music.

Perhaps now some of you may understand why I've never treated newbies with
the respect they "deserve." There were so gosh darn many of them that they
would eventually destroy the community. In my opinion, they've succeeded.
Everyone, whether they pay or not, can get a world and a citizenship if they
have an email address. And the worlds are FREAKING PREFAB!

Others may not agree with me, but I'm going to let go and try the freefall
of the real world. Rest assured, even if I don't end up dead, I won't ever
be back. The magic is gone. Thanks for taking it all away from me, Jessie,
Nathan and probably others that I don't know about.
