Acctually in the beta NG I kinda had a rude remark made to me as well
from him... just ignore :)
As for the topic... I kinda agree. I like the idea of a tourist able to
look through the list in the browser and finding a world capable for
him/her to go into. Great suggestion.

I am trying to run a world for someone on my PC. I downloaded the
AWServer 3.3 and typed in the correct information and it says it is
running with no errors. OK GOOD! Now I go into the worlds list and find
the world. Red=Private however I have caretaker rights so I attempt to
enter it. I clicked on it and it changed screens to a blank world...now
here is the problem. No Immagration Officer message and best of all no
error. EXAMPLE - this world is closed OR world is not running. Just
NOTHING. Any help would be greatly appriciated. Thanks again.

See the only problem with that is I have absolutly no one to host it for
me. I acctually wanted to just host it on my computer... when I am
online I turn on the world. That is how I have done it in the past and
that is my ideal working way to do it. Thanks for the info though. There
was to be a way to do it. Even if I can somehow put it on my FTP if that
is possible.

Yes I did check the log file as I said... I connect through the world
server program I also did through admin... it says "running" and no
errors, as well as the logfile shows nothing elcept the sucessful start
of the world including heartbeats. Everything is good EXCEpt I cannot
enter the world and neither can the other caretaker.

however when I try to go into it the same thing happens... no error
message, no Immagration Offer message....NOTHING. STILL NOTHING! Thanks
for the tip however it did not work.. any other suggestions? I really
need some. Thanks again.

Ok here are the answers to the questions you asked:
How many computers share your DialUp connection? 1
What OS are you running? Windows XP
Do you have firewall installed? Yes but I disable it when I try to
operate the world.
Did the other caretaker try to connect from the same computer or from
the outside world? no they are not trying to connect themselves.
I am not too sure what is wrong. I am usually good with this kind of
thing however there has to be something that I am missing. When the
solution comes we will find out what is wrong with it and it will most
likely be something very simple. Question for you? Why would you host
the world at no charge? Is this not a problem for you?
Thank you for posting and attempting to help. Any suggestions are
appriciated. If anyone else has any suggestions please let me know.
Thank you again.

what is wrong with all of your specs? Please help me understand that.
