I am no Programmer, but if 3.4 had Shadows and Mirrors like in the World
Features you have "Enable Shadows" where you can Enable it like "Allow create url" and a "create mirror" trigger you can put on objects to make a Reflection 3D Shadows + MirrorsOct 30, 2002, 7:13pm
Mirrors and Shadows Could be a good idea.... like on any object you can
use a "create mirror" command and have a World Shadow Dialog thing, where you can make them a Serton Color, or Texture and they are like Real Shadows...... and 3D Shadows + MirrorsOct 30, 2002, 9:15pm
well... the Shadows and Mirrors worked on the Original Half-Life with

when the Early AW 3.3 Came out Terrain only went as far as the World
Size.... my Idea is to have a "Terrain Squares Repeat" Button you can enable/disable... just like with the ground object, if it were a P-10 and you Check Marked the "Terrain Squares Repeat" button it would go up to 200 Meters from GZ in any Direction of the world.... here is a pic of how it might look: www.angelfire.com/scifi/Sheperd/terrainidea1.jpg World Server FeatureNov 19, 2002, 5:54am
*SUGGESTION*
the NEW Server that will be programmed (Build 47 Once) should have "Limitless" Citizen Number entries allowed in the Rights List under Entry and Build and "Light Corona" movement that makes it either rotate the world, or move up/down at sertion speeds (For Example: the Sun setting, or a Planet-Corona rotating around the World) it wouldn't be too hard? *SUGGESTION* Active Worlds 3.4 Teleport IDEANov 25, 2002, 5:55am
The idea i have is to add "Teleportation" effects like on Elite Force -
using a few New/and old Features 1. set up 3.4 to use the "Light Source" Corona (that you see through Windows) as a Beamout/Beamin corona drive too-in the world you could set the Size of it (Maxium 25) and in the avatar.dat file you would have coronatext=c_star1, and coronamovement=-0.6 or something like that 2. you could set a Texture like this in the Avatar.dat file, for a example: fadetext=sparkle1 3. You could have a sound setting in the avatar.dat file for a example: tportsnd=compile.wav 4. You leave in the "Fadeout" thing as you teleport in the Browser, so it uses a texture,sound, and corona when it fades out going down the Browser would be set up to Have it fade, immediately when the avatar begins to fade it changes to a Texture, then a corona appears going down.. and a Noise begins you could also have for a example: teleporttime=35 (The time it would take for you to Fully Disappear and void the world) also in the Avatars.dat file i had some help with the Idea from TechnoZeus |
