Hey folks,

I am somewhat experienced with Preston, but not with many other
bots. I've seen in other worlds where they have bots wandering,
or bots in car avs driving around. I would like to have this
same affect for my world. Can anyone please recommend what
bot to use for this and what commands/script I need to know?
If anybody could help me out with this it would be greatly
appreciated.

Hey!

Thanks for the help! Do you know where I can find a script for
wandering/driving for avs?

Twisted - Thanks for the offer for a custom bot. :-) I'm pretty
new to Xelagot's. I'm used to Preston's, and I tried to look at
the help for Xelagot, but I couldn't find the exact instructions
I was looking for.

Hi all,

A friend of mine in Active Worlds has a cat themed world. She is
building a musuem of pictures of citizen's cats. She has requested and
given me permission that I post for her, since she does not know how to
get to the newsgroups. If you would like a picture of your cat in her

Hello folks,

I am trying to build Liverpool, UK in one of my worlds. Is anybody
here from there or the UK? Some help at getting an accurate view of
Liverpool would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hey everyone -

I just got a new chip/motherboard for Christmas. Appearantly it uses
a new graphics card. With my old graphics card things worked fine.
Now that my computer is updated - whenever I go into Active Worlds
my mouse pointer goes nuts. It starts blinking with the animates, and
when I move it it's terribly slow. This only happens when I'm in AW.
Does anyone know what could be wrong? And how to fix it? It makes
it difficult to build without knowing where my pointer is. Thanks
in advance.

Hey Eep,

My video card is a Intel(r) 82815 Graphics Controller 4.12.01.2607,
is what it says according to system properties, it came with my
Asus CUSL2 motherboard. I've been looking for drivers all night,
I even installed Direct X 8.0, and nothing seems to be working.
Also I notice the textures look as plain and clear to me as they
did before we put the new motherboard/chip etc. in.

I am baffled lol.

Hi all,

Asking a friend of mine last night, he said that the problem occured
because it was only using it's built in chip for graphics. Which is
ok, but... for 3D environments such as Active Worlds, can slow stuff
down considerably because it has to exchange lots of RAM back and
forth, etc. So, today, we took the comp back to the shop, and they
put in a GeFORCE graphics card, and turned off the chip. Now
everything works fine :-) Thanks for everyones help.

Hey folks,

As I said in my previous post I got a new graphics card and
computer make-over. My worlds are hosted on Imatowns, and
while my friends can get into my worlds, I can't. I even tried
to go to other worlds that I know are hosted by Imatowns,
and I can't get into them either. Does anybody know what
this could be? Thanks in advance.

Yeah I got an e-mail from him today saying so...

And I still can't get into my worlds :-O This is weird. All my friends
can get in. But I can't. People tell me they think it's a router
problem... *sigh*

Thanks. Yeah that's what I've been told. This is very frustrating.
I don't understand why my ISP or whatever can find a way around

It's not always easy to think before you send something in a telegram.
Sometimes people get swamped with telegrams and end up clicking on the wrong
one. It's very easy to do...

Accidents do happen....Ask anyone....So why pick on oZILCHo for it?
