Hi all...
Just wanted to say thank you so much to the wonderful, warm and caring AW
family that has surrounded me with hope and love and hugs through this
terrible ordeal. I think all your thoughts and prayers that you sent to
Clee worked. I just left the hospital and they had taken out his breathing
tube this morning and I was told that they now know that he will survive
this. He is very sick still and very weak and has a long path to recovery
but that should happen fully I'm told. I have no idea how much longer he
will be in the hospital but hopefully the only way for him to go is up now.
There is a get well site for him that some of his very good friends have
started. Coords are AW 23870.87N 2406.63E 0.09a 352 if anyone wants to
leave anything.
Thank you all again... this is one of the greatest of families in both good
times and in bad.

lol ok Bit.. was just about to send you telegram to make sure you knew..
he's still in ICU but when they move him to where he can talk I will gram
the phone # to you...

Thank you Facter... I am on my back to the hospital shortly and I will tell
him. He had a slightly improved night last night and is on the road to
healing now... biggest problems are the pain and that he's just really
really weak but hey he's alive.

Wow I have no idea what to say. The outpouring of love and support thrown
my way and Clee's has just been astounding.
Clee was scheduled to have major intestinal surgery on Friday morning but it
has been postponed due to some problems getting his nourishment levels high
enough. The surgeon said at this time it could be weeks and weeks at least
till he is strong enough to go through with the surgery. He is on IV fluids
only and has only been able to eat regular food for a few days out of the
last 5 1/2 weeks. He is losing about 3 pounds a day right now.
He was able to log onto AW yesterday on a laptop in the hospital. He was
too weak to type but he loved all the telegrams that were waiting for him
when he logged on. He also loves all the cards and phone calls he has
received.
Once again, thank you all for all you do. This is an amazing community that
really comes together in good times and bad.
