i know i haven't impressed anyone here on the newsgroup with my high level
of niceness or patience but could you take a look at the survey for Marc? i
made a webpage for him that will collect and post data collected .. thanks

ok .. so there are prolly a mazillion storys about aw out there floating
around the net but i have started writting another one anyways.

before you click the link and go start reading it and bcoming one of my
devoted fans!! (HA .. not likely) read the disclaimer dealie below.

disclaimer:

this is a work of fiction and in no way is meant to offend or make anyone
miserable or sad. its a story for goodness sake! and it has adult
situations and sex and violence and weirdness and lots of madeup words. It
is written in the aw style of switching from third person to first person.
it is also written from the perspective of a fairy .. you know they little
bittie winged creatures that are always so sweet and helpful :)

its about half finished and i promise there is an ending, i can say this
because i have finished the ending and am writting backward from the end to
where the story currently is on my website .. that didn't sound very clear
did it?

recapping the disclaimer part:

adult situations
sex
violence
aw weirdness

oh oh oh .. and it has its own chromeless javascript browser dealie .. when
you click the link it opens a tiny popup which has the link to the story.

and stop picking on shankahlus i don't go to the gors worlds but i have
visited and i have seen his avatars and they seem ok to me .. sorta busty
but ok :)

third person meaning that part of the story is being narrated of observed ..

i agree Bowen .. that is why we consider Amazons a safe haven for women that
have been through the gor "experience" .. a lot of our sisters are refugees
from the gor worlds .. we offer a safe funner place to be .. not so many
head games there, just fun and like minded company .. we don't offer a cure
or anything, just a place to play and have fun



like it or not there is a lot of emotional strangeness in vr .. some of us
recognize it for what it is while others tend to try to ignore it and bob a
long in their little delusion that this medium is somehow immune to the
depredation that can be caused by the human mind ..



i think i should have probably not posted the disclaimer part on my initial
post .. maybe it should have been written as a warning to those easily
offended as seems to be the case here ..



hmmmm .. is it me or do i sense a bit of hostility toward anything or anyone
that might offer a different view of aw than some of the antagonistic
members of this public forum consider to be "normal" .. or maybe its just
"pick on the new people that post kind of inside joke" .. whatever it is i'm
certain i'm not the first person that posted here that has received such
encouragement.



and the thing about posting html here .. geez loooezzz .. what is up with
that?? if you add up all the slamming pasts about that it would probably add
up to more wasted bandwidth that any typical webpage (my two cents) and if
it is the case that some small portion of the readers don't have the
capability to read html news posts .. its about time for an upgrade ya
think? sorry for the rant just had that tumbling around in my head for
sometime now ..

i apologize for not wording my first post so as not to step on your
sensitivity but most reasonable people tend discuss rather than resort to

the posts i have read of yours remind me so much of the typical gor type
mentality of eject them if they don't do it our way .. very disconcerting
for a person that is held in high esteem by the aw community



and in defense of my story .. it is not a work of pornography, nor is a work
glorifying violence .. it is a story based loosely on the activeworlds
universe and the world amazons and the trials and interactions of
individuals from various walks of life .. characters of my imagining and
people that i interact with frequently on aw and on other forums i belong to
... it is a story .. a work of fiction .. a harmless tale that evolves and
changes with each chapter .. i may even add you to it .. just because i can



so if you can manage a bit more that a one line retort and if you can
unravel your thinking and knee jerk driven reaction to a post you obviously
did not understand please post something explaining the total negative vibe
... and look in the mirror yourself while you are at it

its not yanno .. i guess in the story i have accepted the existance of the
gors worlds but i don't have like them right? opps almost for got to use
correct puncutation and CAPITALS and stuff. Anyays if you understand that
part going into it you might be able to see the satire.

Thanks for reading atleast some of it though. I do value any rational
comments.

The story hasn't been edited at all since I started writing it. I promised
Illumie that I wouldn't until it is finished, so there are lots of things
that will change during editing. I do realize there are many spelling and
grammar errors and a multitude of cut and paste induced mistakes and some
lost or forgotten characters but the reason I posted the link here was to
get some feedback from the aw community about it as it is. But I guess that
point was lost somewhere along the way and I too slipped in to the general
tone of "coarse" discussion along with everyone else.

I suppose if anyone did read it they wouldn't say for fear of being slammed
by the naysayser and ncc person and off it would go into another round of
flamng and pointless posting.

Thanks again to anyone that read my story and please accept my apologies for
the flame mess I seem to have started.
