I was wondering if there is a bot which works like HAL, sorry if there is
and I have missed the URL.

I'm not sure where to start here but i'll give it a go.
Are you thinking of this as a spherical world literally?
If so your idea is neat although, as far as i can see, in practice
unworkable.
I thought of a few so far;
If i teleported to a place on the other side of the equator would my av
spin round as i teleported or would i arrive standing on my head?!
worlds with a registry: how would you get around that? If you tried to
build underground and 'dug' vertically on all 4 sides you would be
encroaching your neighbors territory. You'd claim a whole square at the
top which would get smaller and smaller as you reached the world's
core... Imagine segments in an orange if it helps :)
You also mentioned getting to the edge of a world and seeing the other
side .. well how about world size upgrades? would your neighbors
suddenly change? Or.. If you were unlucky enough to have built right
over the edge itself, would you then own a building in two very separate
parts?
