Nomination and Voting will start in October and go through early November with the ceremony November 15th at 10 PM VRT. This year marked a lot of changes in the program. To that end please start getting your nominations ready for the event.

The rules for this year are simple.
* All nominations must be active since the last ceremony or November of last year.
* Everyone qualifies except those that won last year and cannot win again in the same category. Clarification all previous winners can be nominated with the exception of last year’s winners in same category that they won.
* The categories will be posted soon as there will be a couple changes.
* Please take time when the nominations open to fill out the form correctly. We receive 1000’s for all the categories and correct information assures that your nomination is accepted.
* Only citizens are allowed to nominate and vote.

The theme for the Cy Awards this year is “A Moment in Time”

* Best Interactive Game (Within Active Worlds)
* Best Media Presentation (movies are included)

* Best Effect (use of new program updates)

* Best Object Design (models)
* Best Foreign Language World
