It's that time again! When the community chooses and votes on who will lead AWTeen for the next 4 months. Discussions are now taking place in the forums.

Voting for a new Governor of AWTeen will begin on Friday, February 22nd and end on Friday, February 29th at midnight PST.

AWLife Back on Track

Those involved know we postponed the AWLife project to focus on some Community issues. That changes this month with several AWLife functions and structuring going up for Community vote.

AWVote will open on February 22nd and we hope you will be there to help decide the beginnings of this unprecedented Community endeavor.

The Extreme Builder Talent Show II

March 1st will kick off the second Extreme Builder Talent Show. This year's contest will be held in Mars. Mars is an old AWI public building world that will be receiving several updates and expansions during the month of February.

With new objects, textures and even bigger prizes this should be another awesome event and even better than last years huge success.

New Objects Coming to AlphaWorld

Thanks to the hard work of Syntax, Kenneth and the SW City crew we will be adding some new items to the AlphaWorld object path this month.

AWDebate goes Live!

AWMix05 is Born!

AWMix05 is enticing people to join them every Saturday night for fun and games including Trivia, and the Acronyms Word Game.

Not only do you get to hang out and chat with some of the best people in AW but you could win a prize for your world. So come on in to AWMix05 on Saturday's at 10PM VRT and have some fun.

Winter Returning to Active World

A very popular building world called Winter was lost a few years ago. Thanks to Talisan and the many folks helping him AWI is proud to announce the return of Winter world.

This will be a brand new world with tons of space for building and fun. With new objects, activities and enthusiasm this version of Winter will be better than ever.

4.2 Going Beta

Active Worlds version 4.2 goes into beta on February 11th. This latest version of the Active Worlds software focuses on the CAV (Custom Avatars) system.

Bingo every Wee

Your favorite online pastime is back and better than ever. Join DMC2U and the gang for some old time bingo fun and great prizes every Wednesday at 5PM VRT.

Want to send someone directly from your web site to your world? If you take the "Activeworlds Universe Browser installer" off our site and rename it to match your worlds name, for example: (WildAW.exe) any user who downloads and installs that browser will start their Active Worlds experience in your world. Try it!
