I am developing code which works with 3D bitmap images, ala MRI scans. Each point on the Z axis is a separate slice of the model. I can't find a good way to render these slices in TS3, at least not without a significant amount of pain and suffering. Any ideas?

I envision placing the planes "stacked" with space between them on the Z-axis, using an alpha mask to get the transparency between them.


Does that sound about right?


To generate the alpha masks you can get creative with the slices/images in Photoshop.
