3D World review, despite its low score was in fact fairly positive. New reviews are comming in and are more positive still.

c't magazine for computer technik is one of leading German magazines. Dr Jorn Loviscach had this to say about TS7 (translation by me):

"For the first time one of the big 3D packages employs in fundamental way contemporary graphics techniques: In the new realtime mode TrueSpace shows complex materials with glittering glance lights, shadows and other effects. In internet [mode] the program presents as a collaboration platform or as a multiplayer game.... trueSpace7 shows how pretty 3D development today can be."

This review, while fairly short is loaded with specific and usefull information, I highly recomend it to anyone who can read German.

Umm... it doesn't read very well. In english it has some need for connecting words. But it's good to know that 7 is getting reviewed!

Is there an online link to the review or has anyone got a full translation of it? I would be curious to read it. I know Caligari has always posted links to positive reviews of TS products. Any chance of the same for TS7?

I don't think the impact of TS7 will be realized right off for the 3d community in general, but when it does! ! !:jumpy:

Actually alot of the community has already laughed it off. They've said it's got potential, but nothing to back it up with. The upcoming updates with how they are handled and this years contest winners will help to decide whether the 'community' will decide to look deeper into TS or to further dismiss it in favor of other software.
