As we don't seem to have a repository here, I thought this would be the best place to post.


As many of you guys know, Greebles (some call 'em Nernies) are quite popular for generating detail and testing global illumination renders.


For anyone interested in doing this within trueSpace, here's a link:

Word of caution: If you plan to use SDS on a greeble model, bear in mind the extrusions on the faces are not connected by lines and if you get too many 'levels' of extrusions and apply SDS, trueSpace (6.6 in this case) will crash.


Solution: Apply a layer (when I say layer, I mean one extrusion per face) and then apply SDS. This will add the necessary edges. Now you can add a second layer and repeat the process.
