Well while that bar of mine's on hold for reasons of Mega Lag on my PC's part and major brain melting on my part (lighting really isn't my thing) here comes a new quest.

For those of you who've been watching the "who's online" part of this forum you may have noticed me nosing around Madmouse's Warehouse mech thread (http://forums1.caligari.com/truespace/showthread.php?t=546&highlight=warehouse+mech) a fair amount. That's because what with taking a look at one of Schattendorn's designs we decided to make a mech, and I showed him what we're aiming to beat or match in terms of quality. Yup, that's right Steve, I'm setting your warehouse mech as a benchmark for this mech I'm currently building.

Just so you know I doubt I'll be able to come close to Mad's mech, especialy that it was made 3 years ago, but it's worth a shot eh?

Off to a cool start already - although the MM mech is a tough one to strive for... You look to be on your way to a hefty poly count! (which is my usual problem, which means rendering hell...)


Look forward to seeing how it shapes up - I keep thinking I should try a mech, it's just one of the many things I have on a 'project wish list' that I don't have any time to progress...
