Haven't decided where I'm going with this. Just taking a break from the MMC, decided to model a pre-historic fish. Painted an earlier version in Carrara Pain utility - wasn't very good, due to lack of UVing. :D

Sort of a pre-historic carp or some sort of bottom feeder. Hate using guides, so it's all from my brain. (crackle)

oh no!,.. maybe im the one person you should not get ideas from.:jumpy: i think it was about a year ago or something, but somewhere near japan they discovered a prehistoric fish that was thought to be extinct, the fish died, im guessing it was a deep sea fish, and they found it hovering close to the surface in its last moments, it was a cool little story and it was the thing that got me into using the internet. because before, i didn't care about surfing the net at all.

dont forget the streamers, the horn, and a basket.!!!. . . . . ...

This happens when you copy/paste something. :(

Now, instead of planning carefully, making groups, I got go back and well you know, do it the hard way.

Nice modeling James, can i suggest you something?

I should recommend you merge geometry instead encapsulate them..
That will give you much more performance. Also i recommend Merge Geo. instead boolean union.. ;)

Ah, good idea!

I didn't use any booleans except for holes in some objects which really can't be seen, so didn't need them actually.

I used bridge a lot. (bridge is your modeling friend) :)

Uhh...sometimes things just don't go right and you screw a model so bad, it needs to be done completely over...

One thing led to another, a glass of wine or four...and ummm, it got silly!

After this, I sleep. :D Lizard Rider sings - for the heck of it...

...tomorrow I'll start again, but for now, ZzZzzzzz....
