Hi People,

I'm a Truespace User since the 7.6 came out for Free and I have to say I love this programm so much. It's fast intuitive and easy and if you do it right u can get Badass quality even without VRAY or something.

Thx for making this programm, i wouldn't be able to make 3D stuff without it.

And here is my WIP Model of my Transformer.

I wasnt happy with the Original legs , so i replace them at the moment.

The Model took 7 Hours to Model, Shade and render 20 Times. ( In maya it would have taken a week for me to model ) .

it's not done yet. there are crappy parts still , but I'm working on the final Model and Animation on a highway when it crashes trough a bridge.

Wish me luck ;-)

Regards, Christopher

Thanks for sharing, those are pretty cool renders! I've always liked the complexity of the Transformer figures. I also like the materials you have here, did you use Lightworks with HDRI for rendering? You may get a few requests to share tutorials, tips and wireframes, to see how you set about making these, so be prepared!

I hope we'll be seeing more of these in future.

Thanks!

Tom

Thanks for all those very nice comments!

I used Lightworks with HDRI Cross Vertical Picture for Lightning Shadows and Reflection.

A simple phong shader for all of it.

I rendered it in 1600 by 1200 with 2 AA

Took 14 Minutes per Frame ( a real Transformer from the Movie, that is 1000 times better than mine :D , takes 38 hours for 1 frame :D ) so I'm quite happy :D

And yeah, Truespace is so addictive, i just can't stop it.....

First thing I do in the morning is to start Truespace and model random stuff.

here are my Youtube channels with Truespace Stuff, not the best but I'm still learning ;-)

Tried to make Bullet Time 2 days ago from the Southpark reloaded tutorial

but i did it with Nurbs and Bump maps on it ;-) have a look

^_^ Very nice! When the actual movie comes out, you'll have to look closely at the screaming, running, crowd scenes; you might see me. XD (It was filmed here in Philly, yo!)

Very nice work there.

Have you submitted any of your work to the monthly gallery contests?

There are some really cool prizes to choose from if you win! :)
