Hi Folks

I am doing some renders for a user manual for a product. They needed line drawings so I thought I'd give uvtoon a try for the job and the client loved it. Anyways, I thought I'd share the result on one of the renders I particularly like, its a nice effect. I tried to get this kind of quality with the ol flash plugin at first but couldnt get anything like this really. I actually forgot uvtoon but found it on a folder in my external hard drive when I was getting my flash plugin. It saved the day!

That looks real nice - I can see why the client likes it. Good strong simple graphic. (BTW would I really want to put my hand in there?)

The Flash plugin is useful if uvtoon misses a few lines, ie just do a line render with the flash plugin

I set about doing a game with uvtoon renders last year but it wouldn't work on this pc (i've since found out why)

Lookin good 3dfrog :D

Wow, that looks really neat. I've always fancied making an animation in this style. Perhaps this is just the tool for the job. Thanks for sharing.

Interesting ! Is that supposed to represent a new convenient way of flushing out your drier vent tubing with compressed air ?

Nice work! I'm glad I'm not alone in using the UVtoon plugin. I think it's a pretty powerful plugin for some things. But could use a little more features.

Thanks folks, this actually a step in installing a lintalert system, which prevents dryer fires by detecting blockage. You can see the attached movie to get an idea of what it is. I made this movie for the company completely in ts.

VERY nicely done 3DFrog!! the video has just the smoothness and information that would be needed to do the installation. What exactly is a lintalert? it senses when there is buildup of lint in the hose?

Wonderfull animation Frog! Did you used the model side? I would suggest you to take a look on the the wave shapes of the movents! Workspace side is awesome on this job! Because the movents are too much linear. But this is just polishing, your work is awesome at this stage! It is very ease to understand, and there is no jumps on the motion arcs!
