Heres something I made for a new scene but its just the microscope

for now......

Modeled after something that my father used when he studied medicine

65 years ago. and he gave it to me when I was 8 years old....:)

Very nice memory of him since he´s passed away so many years ago...

Just felt like modeling it...

My Dad also gave me one like this and it came in a wood box. I still have it.

Oh the bugs that gave their lives for Science.:D

Yes it came in a wooden box too Steinie plus a box with all the

glass slides...

I got it for Christmas and I was the proudest man on earth to get it...:)

The older i get the more I miss my dad.....

He was a very special person too !


Because the site made a 33kb jpeg out of my picture....

Heres a detail to show a little bit more. Still needs some work to do though..

In the meanwhile I´m getting along with my scene..

Here´the slides case I´m pretty much loosing time in tuning the glass material..:)

but you did the glass very well. Glass and water are two shaders we all have problems with. :D

Steinie mine came in abox too and here it is thats what it looked like and I modeled it for the scene including the lens and lensholders ;)

I also got one, this was almost eight or nine years ago now, third or fourth grade I believe.


Mine came in a box very similar only it was made of a stiff leather, possibly cardboard covered with leather.


When you turned the mirror over on mine there was this little light and the AA batteries sat in the base.


Nice work, and the glass looks excellent too. :D

I am thinking up the scene now thats a hard part because my brain is a bit rusty at the moment !;)
