Is it possible to get the view of a camera object as a bitmap for

an other object.

Yes position the Camera in D3D View so that it covers most of the view then right click your object in the Library and select Change Thumbnail and select Screen. You may have to minimize the LE and Stack part way before so that the snapshot does not include these windows.

There is also older trueSpace6.6 icons in C:\trueSpace75\tS\Scripts\UI\images which you could use with the Manual option.

Thank you trueBlue, but what I tried to ask is that:

If I have a modeled TV I want to show in this TV the view of a

camera. I looked in the camera parameters in LE, but I found no

image of that what the camera sees. Is there an other way?

It is not much important, only an idea.

Is the intent primarily for realtime display using DirectX or for final renders?

Also, do you have tS7.5? There's a new scene included that shows a way to capture a D3D texture as a bitmap, to include post processing effects.

I believe it relies on a new feature in 7.5 so I'm not sure you'd be able to achieve the same in 7.11

At least I think my question is already answered. But I had expected to understand more of the background, like image manipulating by scripting. But now we have a compiled function and could not take a look inside:
