As mentioned earlier I thought it would be a good idea to revisit the trueSpace7:activeX fileSystemObject:
http://forums1.caligari.com/truespace/showpost.php?p=3001&postcount=23 (http://forums1.caligari.com/truespace/showpost.php?p=3001&postcount=23)
When loading the MDarrayExample into the LE, I am getting repeated errors. I changed the pointer to reflect where I installed the location.txt file. So how could I fix this error?
var dataArray = ?

Well must say not sure where that example came from but I am eating humble-pie this week :o

There is huge chunk of code in OnDefaultValue function that belongs up-top.

Here is replacement "jscript" which has the code placed properly I hope.

That is so unprofessional, I apologize. I have to go to hospital now. Seems I am beating myself up here and i see blood.

oh wait ... just baskedii sauce ... false alarm.

It looks like the jscript object has output connectors going to size/scale for xyz instead of location (tx, ty and tz). It still functions with scale too so interesting to note that.

The plan I had at time was to figure some way to get information into the file and edit existing information if desired.

I have a script somewhere, if I did not already put to forums, called RosettaRW, which stands for reads and writes. The file system object allows for appending as well so is just a matter of expanding the functionality of the scripts.

Norm..I took the liberty of uploading what I believe is your RosettaRW.RsObj :)

in visual studio I have activeX controls available..are they accessable too, in a similar manner to filesystem objects.[new ActiveXObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject");]
.I have wondered if with scripts you could have a menu appear from an icon like PIaxis.tsx
that would be cool..

trueBlue, for avoid random repeated error report with dataArray, you need to move block OnComputeOutputs function and place it after OnDefaultValue function.

This's because dataArray is first delcaration in OnDefaultValue function.

Norm, I think we need "Object folder info" RsObj, something like "Owner name" RsObj that can be found at System's kernel library, but it's give the info of current obj directory place on harddisk.
