Right click in the library and chose Insert As->Scene

or

File->Save and choose *.RsScn from the file type drop down.

Good luck and make sure to register so you can post on the main forum. ;)

You cannot save a scene as Jpeg nor any other picture format. You need to render the scene when you need the picture.

JPG is an image format, 2D only, and stores no information about objects, the scene, etc. It is if you like a picture snapped with a camera looking at 3D objects - like the picture, the JPG is only a flat representation of a particular view of some 3D objects, and doesn't contain the objects themselves. You can't "save a scene to JPG" you can only render to JPG, in effect taking a picture like with a camera.

A scene is an RsScn (or Scn if you store it in old tS6.6 mode). This contains no flat representation, but instead contains all the 3D objects, where they are placed, the lighting, etc. It is if you like the world itself, ready to be viewed from any angle.

You can also save an object on its own, as an RsObj (or COB if you store it as a tS6.6 model). This is just the object, no lighting, no other objects.

HTH!
