You guys mentioned that with the improved .x exporter in trueSpace 7.6 you can make models for XNA. However, any model I export in .x format does not work with XNA. How do I make .x files for XNA?

Are you using the workspace X format export? There are lots of options for X format export, one thing I would try first is using JPG instead of PNG (which is the default).

You would need to try various options with your model and see what works. What is the error you get on loading into XNA?

For static models, if you save to X format from the Model side it works fine - I did this with a very polygon heavy spaceship and flew it around on my 360:

The new x format export has more options, and should be more robust, but I havent had a chance to get into testing it with XNA yet, only with Virtual Earth.

Let's see if we can find why there seems to be an issue, and if the settings can alter that and then write up a good workflow for getting this done :)

HTH!
