I am testing out 7.5. I cannot seem to find anything that tells what type of file can be created by the program. I know the test version does not allow you to save such a file. But if I am going to buy it, I want it to produce AVI or WMV to work in my video editor. Does it produce these files? Can someone stear me in the right direction? Thanks.

Take a look here, it lists the output files down near the bottom.

There are lots of different kinds of file types, and here you are asking about those produced from rendering.

tS7.5 is quite capable of directly producing AVIs. Usually though the recommendation is to produce a numbered sequence of lossless compression still images (eg PNGs), and then turn this into an AVI (or WMV or whatever) later using a video editor. Do a search on the topic and you will find all the reasons why :) The biggest is that if you have a power cut in the middle of rendering to AVI, the entire AVI is broken and useless and you have to start rendering again from the beginning (which could be 2, or 20, or 200 hours work). IF you render ot image sequences, only the one frame rendering at the time of the power cut is lost, and you keep the 2, 20 or 200 hours rendering so far and just continue from where you broke off.

So yes, tS7.5 will produce AVIs if you want it to, or TGA, PNG, JPG, BMP image sequences, etc.

Hope this helps!
