I haven't used ts in a while but I thought that with all of the new post of car models that I would try to relearn some of the things that I have forgotten. So far all of this modeling is done in model side of ts76, as I'm more comfortable use the mode side. This is all I have after a day or so of playing around. I decided to use a convertable as windows always are complicated and this will only have a front window to model.

Looks good. To get the same comfort level with Workspace, try the Organics Model course part 1 from Jack Edwards

Coming along nicely. I'm looking forward to seeing the progress on all these car models. The more wireframe screenies the better, for me to learn from :D. After all, that is one of my 2009 tS resolutions.

I like using the workspace side, its just that in getting the model set up seemed easier in the beginning on the model side. In workspace side I can model in the perspective view with out having to have all 4 views open (as is needed on the model side). From this point on all of the work will be using the workspace side, except that when I try to use the mirror model icon, I need a vertical face and the only way that I know how to do that is to go back to the model side and use a plug in that allows me to extrude an edge to get a vertical face to mirror about. :)

I will just model half and then every now and then I will use mirror model to get a temporary model for viewing only.

Something that the WS side offers is the ability to mirror from an edge loop (it does not have to be a complete loop, I use partial loops all of the time), groups of vertices and faces. Give it a try, it works pretty well.

Nice model :)

You are also able to sweep an edge in the new WS side, so look at the Dyna Sweep and Sweep Tool...

Thanks, Thats a great tip and it works as you suggest.

Little progess trying to add interior seats and etc. I make a lot of mistakes but workspace side allows for easy corretions and ability to redo, delete, and add without any problems.

Had to take a break and just do some playing around with TS to experment a litle and also fool with trying to create some trees, and I didn't want to start a new thread for this. Anyway here is my experimenting effort.
